    aint nething wrong with fruityloops as far as i see, especially if your a beginner......

    I've also heard that noteworthy composer is good (but have not tried it myself.) The mags 'Computer Music' and 'Next Music' have websites where you can get software downloads. Can't remember which one but they used to offer a ROland software synth (for W98 only) as well as Cakewalk Express V6. Cakewalk is probably the most trustworthy, easy to use package for any beginner. Try those websites....worth keeping an eye on!!

    Where can I find frooty loops? I've heard a lot about that, and I'd rather have free software than shell out $500 for something it turns out I can't use, or is just a pain to use.
