    what's the easiest and free software to use to cut midis so i can use it as ringtones?

    what's the difference between the file name *.mid and *.midi

    i also need a program to convert mp3 to midi

    since i own a cellphone (sony ericsson t226) and it has 32 voice polyphonic ringtones, how do i convert a midi to 32 voices

    Anvil Studio: freeware .....> Google

    .mid is the correct extension of midi files.

    None can do it properly, some'd say "they're all half-assed"
    Some can handle it quite OK, if the .mp3 sound is monophonic.
