I would like to know the easiest way to rerecord midi's at a higher volume. I use them as ringtones but the volume on many of them is too low. Can anyone help me out?

    Hi Nastynas315,

Just change the track volume settings in the midi file header (CC 07). You'll have to do this for all tracks.

You can also check the velocity values. If they are too low, you can change this values as well.

But the volume of polyphonic RT's will always be lower then the volume of mono RT's.

    Kind regards,
    Alain

I use Cakewalk to alter files (then GS editor) and Vanbasco Midi player to play.
    Basic but it works ok
