MIDIBuddy's file database will officially close on Dec 12th. Files will be purged from the server and all incoming pages will be redirected to this board.

I'm sorry to announce this, but continuing pressure from copyright agencies has given me no other choice.

Please maxamize the use of this board! :)

Okay, so I was a couple hours early. Sorry, but I had to do it tonight. :/

Not that I wanted to... I'm going to miss that database :(

Na. Check the date on this topic. This pertains to the old site, which was just a database of free files. The new site (this) is a message board tied in with HitTrax professional MIDI.

I'm confused. MIDIbuddy's server is shutting down but the webboard will still remain?

Send me a pm. I own a internet firm and maybe we can figure something out. Or you could transfer the board over to my company.

Ah! I appreciate your offer, but THIS site is not closing. Please look at the dates on the topics. IT is referring to the OLD site.

When did honoring other people's talent with computerized music become a crime? Who was making money? A victimless crime,or possibly a future act of terrorism. The government should keep it's fingers out of some many pies.I do believe our major talents were not too worried about midi files.Lespaul

Lespaul, I agree with you. I know there are a lot of commercial benefits to players while working with Midi, however the same can be said about many other forms of musical presentation.
    Cheers

    Right on lespaul,
Next thing you know - I'll be sued for playing Nothing Else Matters: on my own front porch on my own Alvarez acoustic guitar.

The music industry (and several recording artists I won't name)'s greed never ceases to amaze me.
