    Hello all,
I am not a midi wiz, but I need some help. I hope this is the proper place for the post...

I compose music using the Finale PrintMusic notations software. I then convert the sheet music in to midi files. I work in musical theater, and I would like to use my midi files to create accompaniment for rehearsals.

Is there a way to make these midi files sound with more realistic instrument samples (the standard midi sounds are not realistic enough for my purposes).

I have a middle of the line casio keyboard that will play the files from the computer, but the sounds are not really any better than standard midi.

If I were to purchase something like Piansimo or Ivory, would they play these midi files that I've created using their built in sounds?

Any help or advice you can give me in bringing these "finale" based midi file to life would be of great help. Thank you!
