Hello everybody, Does anybody use mp3 for karaoke? I read from a website that lyrics can be embedded in a mp3 file and can be played using mp3 player that supports the format. The player plays the mp3 while displaying the lyrics. Appreciate any help.... Thanks, -MX
You can do this... There is a program called MP3+G Toolz that can take a .bin rip of a CD+G or track (off a CD) and make a MP3+G out of it. You can use Dart CDG or CDRWin to rip a CD+G CD, and CDRWin to burn a CD+G CD. http://www.karaokeplayground.co.uk/index2/index2.htm
Mp3 + G format... Yeah, I sure knew about that cd+g format. BUT It's difficult to produce (you have to rip those files, copying audio tracks rips off the text info.) And, what's more: Ever seen a cd+g player? I sure would be interested in that MP3 + G format, but to my knowledge it never came further than an idea... Are there any people who know a solution? My idea would be to transfer .kar format to mp3+ G format as many people don't have that slick synthesizer I have.....
