My Immortal from Evanescence, what is that background noise?

    Hi,

If you listen carefuly the "My Immortal" music from Evanescence (particulary in the quieter parts) you can hear some "beep-beep-beep" sound... is that Morse code that has something to do with the song, or am I alucinating?

    Best regards,

    Norberto

I'm glad I'm not alone in this :)

I already tried do decypher it by looking at a morse dictionary and trying to find letters on the beeps, but as I don't have any experience in "morse interpretation" I wasn't sucessfull at that.

If you get to decypher that, please share what you get with us.

    Best regards,

    Norberto

In an interview with Amy Lee by Adam...
    Code:
"They are supposed to be there," she told us. "We get
asked that all the time. It's not a hidden message or
Morse Code. And it's not some subliminal message."

Yeah it would have been real cool if there was a hidden message.

Yer, what is that constant background beeping, like from some phone.
Has anyone manage to remove it from the song?
Send me that version because I can't find another

    'Morse Code' Removal...

    Go here http://www2.vip.net/~wemartin/immortal.htm
Using Cool Edit and the Noise Profile I have created, you can strip that stupid Morse Code garbage out of the song My Immortal. -Wes.
