You mentioned that you play in a band here in Dallas.
What's you band and when are you playing? I might be out
and around this Friday and would stop in to see you if
you're playing Friday nite. We have a Saturday gig in North
Richland Hills but we're open Friday night.
  2. No gigs this weekend. This band has been sort of like the new Guns
and Roses....it's taking forever to get off the ground. Shoot me your
email and I'll give you more details offline. I don't want to bore
    everyone with all the details.

    Done.
  4. Sort of....ha ha...We spent the first few months, just me (on drums)
and the singer/guitarist, waiting for the bass player to finish
playing with a previous band. Then, we spent a few more months
looking for a second guitarist, which never panned out. Now, we're
just going as a 3 pc. Gigs should start in a few weeks. You'd think
it'd be easy to find a rootsy, Ron Wood sort of guitarist here in TX,
    but not so.

Guitar players suck. Good luck. Look to guys over 40 for the best players
who don't have all the baggage and bullshit of the wannabe rock stars.
