I am not too sure about this but there is an application that you download to edit you MIDI files, therefore you can make them shorter.

do a search on freeware sites like www.downloads.com for a midi editor. Shouldn't be too hard to find something.

I'm using a Sony T610 and I've managed to bluetooth-over a couple of midi's that are around 80-90k, what phone are you using? Perhaps you can download a newer version of the firmware for your phone?

You know a place to download firmware for Nokia phones, on my 6610 if I'm testing the sound on the folder it vibrates and it irritates me. Thanks.

How many channels are your midis??? 70K must be tonnes... I don't know of too many phones that can handle playing all that much.

200k must be quite an old phone now.. would be used to know what mode it is. I have a SE T610 and that's got 2Mb of RAM.

    memory?!?

While we're talkin 'bout memory here: Is it possible to upgrade the memory in Nokia phones (esp. the 6610)? Are there any electronic freaks out there that know how to open a phone and add some RAM?

    Oxygen is the deal

Oxygen Phone Manager II for Nokia phones is the best one for me. You can do everything with it.
    Get it under www.opm-2.com.

use cakewalk pro audio 8 and you can select and clip out any piece of the song that you like and save it as Midi 0 format so that the file be less then 15 kb.
