The hosts of radio station New Jersey 101.5 FM said racist remarks on air about ASIANS. The hosts previously have made statments about women and people who are recovering from addictive illnesses for example alcoholics. Sorry all, I am furious and outraged about this so, please got to the link provided to let the radio station and it's parent company that these acts are innappropriate and the hosts positions should be terminated. Just listened to the recording...one of those guys in particular was pretty abusive towards Asians. People have been kicked out of their jobs for less over here so i'm not sure how he got away with it...or did he ?. Vb's right, it's sad that there are people like that in the world but unfortunately, as long as no-one does something about it, they'll keep making comments like this :exasper:

The real shame is that each of those men likely KNOW many Asian Americans personally, but think their aquaintances #1 Are an exception to their stereotyping, #2 Will take this as a 'joke' and not be insulted.

Small minded people feel the need to exclude someone in order to feel important themselves. Don't be that person - whether the exclusion be the odd kid on your street or a whole race....

it's hard to believe that racism still exists in todays world but unfortunately instead of disappearing it just went into hiding and it pops its ugly head up every now and again. :(
