What soundfont use for rock midi files? Rock-guitar, etc..
Hmmm, rock midis dont always sound too good. Best to use a .mod tracker for them, you can get a more realistic sounding guitar.
My Korg PA 80 play guitars in midis very well !!
it's very difficult to make a good rock midi file....
I personally use Crisis GM v1.8, but I doubt you would be able to utilise it. It is, after all, 250MB.
yeah i reckon you just can`t get a goog distored gat yet god knows i`ve tired, i now just use cakewalk burn the midi to a wave file & add live gat instead
I think you can get a decent guitar rock sound when you manipulate the midi with a good software program. I use Calkwalk with good results. If you can tell me how to post a midi that you can grab, I'd be more than happy to give you a sample I did with Van Halen's "Hot For Teacher."
Only decent way is I think like the recent posts, record a live guitar over midi backing of drums, piano, strings. Use something like Creative Soundblaster Audigy soundcard with the breakout box so you can input audio or midi. Record to your hard drive using the Lion 6 Pod and viola, good rock guitar.
? C-Net has nothing to do with rock SoundFonts.
I would recommend you the Edirol Hyper Canvas. It's general midi and it has some decent sounds.
Very old topic, kuerbo.
What I do is use a clean sound and record it as an audio track and then run it through Guitar Rig. It isn't great but it beats any soundfont I have heard.
