Somehow I've got my Roland SC-7 into a state where the amount of
volume is directly proportional to the amount of reverb and/or chorus.
Does anyone know how to get it back such that volume is again
    independent of other controller data?

    Here's my equipment:
    - Roland SC-7 Sound Module
    - Roland PC-200 MkII Controller

I can also send MIDI Data to the SC-7 from Finale 2003 on a generic PC
    box.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Ryan

You probably set the volume to be controlled by the controller you're using for
    reverb and/or chorus.

The SC-7's parameters can be set by sending System Exclusive messages to it.
The easiest way is to download and install my "SC-7 Playback Panel" on my web
site at http://www.borg.com/~jglatt (under "Software Programs"). It gives you
graphical sliders and buttons which sends out the proper Sysex messages for you
