    what would a guy need to get started in making midis.. can it all be done just with a chunk of software or what...?

    the answer is "yes"......... Search Engine "noteworthy composer" for you chunk of software.... if you find you like it look into cakewalk's latest stuff..... that and an idea will get you everywhere

    I got Cakewalk Home Studio 2002 recently and am learning fast. If i can do it then any gobshite can !!
