hmmmmmmmm cubase vst is a good program. I use sx but really the only main differences are the workflow, and the interface.

Keep it. I use Cakewalk, but Cubase is right up there. Curious to why you would want to switch to another program.

I have an old version of Powertracks when I first got Band In A Box.

Has anyone used Band In A Box?

Been using it for a few years as a teaching tool (creating quick and easy back tracks for my students) and have an interest in other peoples feedback and stories.

try logic - its an alternative to cubase. On the same level but down to personal preference i guess. Or if you REALLY wanna go for it, you can try Pro Tools but that normally works in conjuction with its hardware. g luck!

yeh I rate Powertracks too. It's very easy to use. There are decent features underneath but they don't bamboozle you from the main screen.
