why is it so hard to find sheet music (free) on the net?
coz its hard to scan up duh. thats why u get a midi and transcribe it. i suggest digital orchestrator for transcribing available at voyetra.com
I got that program and took a good look at it - can u tell me how to transcribe?
I use Finale to convert MIDI to sheet music.. but there is a ton of shareware appz that do it on downlaod.com... like Music master works. You can transcribe in Finale as well. If you have sheet music that you want to manually enter in each note to make a MIDI.
the problem with this crap is....
We need the sheet music to MAKE the midi in the first place!
And I'm sure as hell NOT paying for a midi to get some sheet music that isn't as good as the original anyways.
Anyone that knows what I mean with this, please, back me up.
Yup, getting a score from a crappy MIDI is worthless. Unfortunately, sometimes it's hard to get sheet music that reflects actual performance data as opposed to watered down piano/vocal/strumming transcriptions. "Official" songbooks are good sources, but are expensive, and still occasionally disappoint.
