    Hi,

Wondering can you help me here with this one please. I'm running a
Windows 98 box which I have connected to my Clavinova Yamaha electric
piano. I can record what I play by using the "sound Recorder" program
that comes with win98 (you know the one
    start->programs->accessories->entertainment->sound recorder). However
I'm looking around for a better recorder program.
Can you recommend one please? Something free, provides unlimited
recording and can record in .wav format would be ideal. Would you like
to recommend anything that you think is cool?

    Thanks a million in advance...

    Cheers,
    Al

    Hi
I've used a program called " audio Galaxy".
Its a no thrills audio recorder. It records until your HD limit is reached
    and it outputs wavs.
Its freeware so you should find it on the web easy enough.

    Hi Al,

Try Audacity. It's free, you can record in wave format, and convert it to MP3 if you need. It's possible to do multitrack recording, and to edit the waves. Very easy to use !

More on this free wave-editor here:

    Kind regards,
