autumns here and i lost my eights, the leg just wont work
i cant decide whether i wish to expand my cymbal setup with a small china
(allthough my missus promised it to me as my 30th birthday present a month
    ago)
i store my familys outdoor winter clothes on an open rack above my drums.
a week ago the rack broke down and the clothes have been covering my drums
since. and i dont seem to have energy to remove them (im sure the missus has
when she pays a visit to the carage...)
looking forward to the autumn season with my band after this lazy summer
    break

You can start by putting down the crack pipe.

Was this a platonic or a err.... Physical relationship. You have to let
them down easy you know. Feelings get hurt and you know "Hell hath no fury
    like a drumkit scorned" :)

let it rest for a while, just don`t make yourself hate them even more. take
it easy, and sometime soon you will find the inspiration.

don`t think about it too much.

    peace,

See? We have conflicting advice here... maybe. The last post suggests
putting down the crack pipe, whereas this post seems to advise just the
    opposite.

Personally, I think "Drugs for Drummers" suggests that individual playing
style, style of music and the drummer's personality dictate the optimum drug
for a particular gig. A very hyper drummer needing to play a more laid back
gig may find that downers or perhaps just a little herb are the best choice.
Conversely, a laid back drummer needing to kick things up a notch might find
a bit of coke more helpful.

Clean all the crap off them, throw it all in a heap to clean up later, who
    cares.

Polish the drums and clean all the chrome, then do a thorough tuning and
    de-resonance until they sound fantastic.

Go down and buy that splash cymbal and a clamp and find a place to install
    it.

Turn on a good rockin tune that you can relate to.. something you love to
play to. Turn it up real loud.

Grab your sticks, and sit on the throne.. DO NOT PLAY, just listen..

    Try NOT to play..
