The silly yamaha speaker/mic thing...

    Anyone have that link? Yamaha marketing speakers in a drum shell to use as
    bass mics.

    But holy cow, man, make your own!

    Just wire the positive and negative speaker terminals to a 1/4"
    jack. Plug that into a direct box and go XLR into the mixer. Wire
    a 1//4 jumper that switched the positive and negative. That way you
    can play around with the phase and see which one gives you a cleaner
    sound with the most low end.
