It's one of those games that for me keeps me interested for an entire day, then i don't play it for about a year. THen out of the blue i'll play it again, for another day. And the cycle continues.

actually it is so easy to change their clothes than the last game. In your programs directory in your start menu, under ea games there is a program called sims body shop. Oh if you download clothes from the internet you must intall the clothes then start body shop, you don't have to do anything in body shop just quit it and the sim2 game will read the clothes. To learn how to use body shop look on the sims2 website. Here's a quicky to get you through it: Start up body shop, and i believe it is something project or soemthing similiar but it's the second option, then start a new project and choose a clothes style or even a body color, well then it exports the files into a folder. Then you can use programs like photoshop or paint shop to edit those files and just import them back in with a new name etc. The sims2 uses a special layer called an alpha channel so when you have say a dress but you just want to work on the helm you can just change the alpha channel and that's the only part that will show up.

I finally bought it! :D Now I know what you guys are talking about! :smart:
I haven't figured out body shop yet though. I don't see much point to it. I tried to use the tutorial and I just got lost.
But it's so much better then the first one. (FIRES ARE SOOOOO MUCH MORE FUN!!!)
But other then that, I'm really enjoying the whole teenage dating thing. It's really hard to control, but it's really entertaining (Oh, if only teens could Woohoo!).

from what I know is that in order for the sims 2 to be still be teen rated they had to leave out giving teens the ability to woohoo, or it'll be rated for mature only, i'm sure that would have cut sales by alot, but i'm bound to think someone will create a patch for that... try a search online. There were different sprites for the sims such as different beds that allowed different actions to show. This game is pretty flexable and customizable it's just a matter of time when it's going to happen.

Their was an episode of SEX TV
( 9pm prime time local cable go figure)
that was showing no holds barred vitual reality games
like the sims that are designed explicitly for sexual gratification
with no barbie style on these avatars

I guess I'm entering the Prude realm
I just don't want my sons and daughters,
nephews and neices ( or yours)
exposed to these plug-in ans add on for a few more years

it just cheapens everything to a lowest common denominator
of toilet bowl humor and degradation

well, the nude patch just removes the mosaic blur when a sims showers or uses the toilet. The sims are fully clothed when at the toilet, but are naked taking a shower or bath. They are nude for a breif second it takes them to change and enter the bath and out, well for most tubs and showers, except the last standard tub even while nude they are covered either by the water or object itself. Therefore the point in the nude patch is to only remove the mosaic blur. While sex patches just changes the game. I mean if you wanted a game that is more graphic then why bother with the sims. BTW the mosaic blur gets on my nerves, but all shortcuts to the game runs off the original exe, not the patched exe.

After a while Sims 1 pissed me off. I kept having to do one thing then something else would go wrong, and the same, again and again. I haven't played in over a month.
