I recently purchased a Triton Rack.
    :jawdrop:
I am so impressed with this machine; I am planning on replacing a rather large rack full of modules with this single device.

This single module kicks some serious ass; it is allowing me to get rid of a ton of gear, including:
    O1W/R
    Wavestation (Rack)
    K2000RS
    Matrix 1000
    TX 802
    K1-R

And maybe, I can eliminate my R-8M.

I'd love to hear from anyone who has been working with a Triton in the studio or on stage.

1.) How do you use it?
2.) What do you drive it with?
3.) Is any one using the onboard sequencer?
4.) Anyone using the Vocoder live?
5.) What other modules (if any) do you use with it?
6.) Any cool SysEx tricks that you use?

This is my first GM device and I'm even considering using it within the GM framework (mostly). I want to take advantage of Moss board, as well.

    Thanks!

    The Triton rulez!

I use it live, for sequencing and in the studio. The Vocoder is a bit difficult to figure out but very cool once you get the hang of it.

You made a great decision on getting the Triton

Thanks. Do you control harmonies with a sequencer?

Yes I do, but I sequence the harmonies and actually use a digitech Vocalist for the harmonies.

I use the vocoder for effect, just because it sounds so cool!

I'm setting it up for a live performance as backing tracks, but i'm having a little trouble using the s. play. It seem to sometimes change my drum track to a piano( track # 10) when playing a SMF. I haven't used the vocoder live - actually this is the first time i've heard of it - i'll have to look into that
