use quantize grooves

    a lot of programmers just use a straight 16 quantize.
    if you want to try and get a bit of a groove to your tracks, try switching up the quantize. sequencers like cubase, logic etc have quantize grooves. so next time instead of using a straight 16 use a groove.

    I agree adrian. Variation is good. Use something like 16T (which is triplets) or 8T for a laid back blues style pattern in 4/4 time. For a nice touch try 3/4 and a jazz waltz.
