Is there any good programs out there to convert ".wav", ".mp3"'s to MIDI? I have seen some very poor shareware / freeware, but nothing that worked well? Any ideas?

All of the automatic ones don't work very well but there is a semi manual one called Score Extractor that gets good results, get it from www.scoreextractor.com

The roland "virtual sound canvas " is excellent...just load the midi file...click on "convert" and bob's your uncle....one wave file...plus its used the roland sounds...all in the comfort of your own PC...lol

I think he meant the other way about (which is impossible)... but that's cool nonetheless. :)

It's a mess that cannot be discerned as music half of the time. The garbled mess is nothing to place hopes on, and I have learned not to even think about it at any rate.
