    not easy

    Hi,
I've tried Amazing midi but I guess that all the converters work the same.... Not very well...
It can help if the wave you're trying to convert is very simple.
    Good luck!

I've tried AmazingMidi too, and even on clear, simple one instrument WAVs it misses and adds a lot of extra notes....I downloaded it for a complex wav, tried it, and it turned out to be a complete mess :(

It doesn't work unfortunately. There just isn't any program that does even an adequate job of transforming mp3 or wav to midi.

Using Intelliscore is the best effort you can try to convert .wav/.mp3 to .mid.
Yet you have to tune the parameter for the best result, specially for polyphonic tones.
