What brand CDRs and CDRWs does everyone use?
I like to use TDK and Sony for my important data. And I have some generic silver/silver cdrs for back up and music cds for the car etc.
We use generic, don't seem to have too much trouble. Trial and error orginally to find the best generic product.
whatever is the cheapest
Yea there is no difference in the quality of the cd-r/w between name brands. The only difference you will find is the design on the top of them. Really just go with whatever you can find for the cheapest. I've found that Best Buy usually runs some sort of deal on a paticular brand every week.
I use either TDK/Maxell/Pine Media
I like the tdk's for the car stereo, they are less prone to warping
I mostly use Imation. I sometimes use others if Imation isn't on sale
I use whatever I can get a spindle of 50 for £10 or less
But to be fair most of mine get data written to them. As far as cdrw's go, I don't really use them much. Most of my audio cd players don't read them, apart from a more modern one which isn't mine. I have never had a problem with generic cd's - I used to buy sony ones but found them to be unreliable - randomly refusing to burn??
i use HP.

Verbatim are goods for me
It's a SONY! Nah, whatevers good, I recommend anything good to my friends but if the price is so close between the top brands, Sony is my pick everytime. I heard TDK is good too.
anything rated 16x 700MB that is less than 15 cents a disc after rebate.... no more than 30 cents a disc before rebate.
There's an interesting article/test on CDRWs over at www.slashdot.org
MMORE are really good!!! I've never had any trouble with these. One problem: they are only compatible up to 32x. For faster I recommend TDK (48x)
haha... me jus get the cheapest plain ones i can get my hands on.. reason being mine are for music cds.... tts y not willing to spend the cash... still refusing to cash in on sony products though.. kinda irked by its anti-piracy measures.....
I use Princo cds. They are very good and very cheap.
Im using white labels cd's think theyre Datasafe ones..
Never had any bother with them.
i use fuji ..but usualy i buy what's on sale
I usually buy what is on sale. I just got a 100-pack of Fujifilm for $8 from Best Buy.
darn I spent $20 on a spindle of 100 cdrs but they don't have a greenish tint to them, they are purely silver top silver silver bottom.
