I like it too. It's a nice change.
ehh dashboard...sunny day real estate...tbs
When I first read the topic,
the first thing I thought of when reading "Emo"
is Emo Phillips, the comedian.
I think is a kind of gay "Emotional" music
SUre, I prefer Sesame Street version. Lol
Me too, Fly
o_o Emo stands for emotional o_o so basically all of them
lol, i don't like any of them..dashboard confessional's okay i guess
The only song I really like by Dashboard Confessional is Vindicated.
There is NO way Sunny Day Real Estate is emo!? I haven't heard their recent stuff having said that though. They are supposed to be grunge...
i really think instead of sunny day real estate i would put in Brand new...there new cd really has the "criteria" for what some call emo
emo is just another overly-gerneralized term.. like punk, or pop... lol.. that's what I think anyway.
WoW .. lol some ppl just dont like emo ... Hey let us be!!
Screamo and Emo is great Probely better then that junk you listen to! :assskake:
benji9921 :i think emo music is just gay...stupid and retarted
lol benji9921. im not sure i havent really heard any songs from any of those bands.
Don't waste your time listening to that garbage,
It's just for guys who try to get some, by crying over their girlfriend or whatever, it's not even music.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but please don't belittle other users for their music preference.
Emo is nothing but a waterd down punk rock. I went from Emocore to HxC, and I can't believe I was even into that stuff. But otherwise, I vote dashboard.
i think most emo sounds identical, but when they get it right its sounds ultimate. Someone should listen to some UnderOath, theyre emo that sounds good
Emo Phillips? I totally thought of Elmo from Sesame Street. Oh my god, I can imagine him with an electric guitar strapped on his shoulder, just rockin' 80's neo-classical style. . .lol
"Elmo is ready to rock. Are you?"
Don't anyone get me wrong, here: I listen to music with a very open mind (and ears), but I don't like "emo" rock much,
I seriously don't understand this whining-cute-guy-singer-songwriter craze. "im not a perfect person," "i'm sorry, i'm sorry, i'm sorry. . ." If I want sensitive, i'll listen to an early Mozart piano sonata, or a Haydn piece, or even one of my own compositions (I know exactly how that guy feels! lol).
And I voted dashboard confessional (Not to be confused with the HBO show Taxicah Confessional. lol)
All those bands are AWESOME! EMO rules, even though people say it don't
Separate names with a comma.
