Absolutely impossible question to answer. It's all down to personal taste and preferences

Wow, ok now which one is the best. I have a 1987 Fender Strat Plus Deluxe, great guitar, then there's the Gibson Les Paul Standard, man does that have some sustain, then the Californian Fender Strat and not to forget my trusy Ibanez Destroyer, They all have a use somewhere in my musical interludes.

There's also a very nice reissue Tele at my local store I'm drooling over at the moment,

Which is best? All of them for so many different reasons!!

There is no best guitar, just as there is no best guitarist.

I think the best is the comfortable for anyone, then the best guitar for one guitarplayer maybe be the worst for other guitarplayer.

I agree with most of the replies. It is all up to personal taste and what guitar gives you the best feel. I have played alot of different guitars and my personal favorate is my Peavey Wolfgang.

    The Best Guitar

All I know is which are the best for me, and my three faves are a Fury Fireball (built in Saskatoon, Canada), a Gretsch g3156 Streamliner, a Fenix Mona Lisa (never offered for sale in the Western Hemisphere, I don't think), and a Sawchyn acoustic (handmade in Regina, Canada).

I have a small collection of Fenders and Gibsons for electric. I like to record with Fender Strats (an unfinished '79 customized strat is my favorite) and play live with a Gibson Black Beauty (and that is a sexy guitar!... how about another forum for sexiest guitar?)

For acoustic: I like Martin and this custom made classical guitar I picked up in Valencia.

difficult to answer, ha sto do with taste...
    depends on style of music...
i think, it's good to have the originals, like strat, tele, les paul...
better an original, than a guitar that gives you 5 zillion sounds but nothing "real"

    peace, deronkel

I agree with most of you guys, it is up to personal taste, everyone has a favorite sound or feel of the guitar.
I have a couple of guitars I love,

    1. Peavey Wolfgang - feels and sounds great
    2. Fernandez Les Paul - Awesome sound and plays really nice
    3. 20 year old Maton Jumbo acoustic - Sounds huge

Would love to get a Taylor or Martin acoustic and a PRS electric
but the funds aren't quite there yet!!
