I know there are loads of players with the latest laptops and software, but I'm happy with my Yamaha QY700. I open the flightcase, plug in the power and the mixing desk, switch on and it's ready to go with the first song already loaded.
It may be old, but I've never had any problems with it.
Before that I had a Yamaha QY300 - similar procedure, but limited to 10 songs (QY700 holds 20), and further back in time I had a Yamaha QR10.
The QR10 wasn't bad, but with no floppy drive you could only record your efforts by cabling up to a PC with a sequencer program.

If you're under 50, you won't understand this next bit - I record all my gigs on a 4-track cassette! No risk of losing all my data in a hard-disk crash.
