What is the best sequencer? Logic, Cubase or Sonar?
it is a quetstion of the taste.
i prefer sonar for midi. but logic for midi & audio/audio-instuments
da best one is da one you choose after spending hrs and hrs trying to make each one do exactly what it is you want it to do and in the way that you enjoy doing it...
It took me about 6months to figure out which sequencer i needed to use - nobody can tell you, you need to find out for yourself (although i do recommend having a look at Cubase SX!!)
logic is the best all round sequencer for me, I find cubase lacking in the midi area and graphically laborious.
I never had any problems with cubase but I like logic
I've only used cubase out of those three...and I would chose cakewalk over that for midi...
I use cubase a lot and find it relatively easy if you ignore the help that comes with it and use one of the many Cubase VST books on the market. Cakewalk I have tried but did not get on very well with it.
Which of these is least expensive? $$
Anvil Studio is free. http://www.anvilstudio.com/
I use CUBASE SX for MIDI/Audio sequencing. I am not worried about the graphics on any sequencer i use (graphical acrobatics just eat RAM!). Anyone tried CUBASE SX 2 yet??
I love logic....it's da bomb...
i guess, i dont like it much
