    I currently have a sony vaio with an amd athlon processor, im currently hating it. I am going to get a compaq presario soon though :)

    Better yet, get one custom built. I never look at brand names; only hardware specifications and reliability. It is cheaper to get one custom built, because you are not paying for licenses to program bundles you may never use.
