Personally the ONLY program i've ever used is Finale 2003. Now Finale has its own file system that is saved as but also ahs the option to save as midis, and in 2004 the ability to save as mp3's. However it can lack in ceartin ares and i just want to know some other softwares that can do the same thing.

I use Cubase for the midis and export it to Amadeus which reads it and prints the score. It also allows you to add expression marks and tempo and lyrics and guitar chords.

I mostly use Anvil Studio. Sometimes Music MasterWorks or Sonar.

I've used Powertracks before. Didn't care for it over Cakewalk though. Don't have a modern version of Cakewalk to tell you all it's abilities.

I use Emagic's logic audio, similar to cakewalk. I still think it's the best program for a number of midifile programing and recording uses, and especially great for live work if you're a muso using midi backings.
