    I killed centipede and fed it to my Venus Fly Trap in 3 different portions. It's been a few months since my plant last ate. He was hungry ;)

    Well, I suppose it's good that you didn't tell us you killed your plant by not feeding it instead . :laugh:

    Yea... Venus Flytraps are hard to starve. You'd have to deprive it for like 6 months or more before it died. I don't even feed mine all winter, because it kind of goes dormant from about Nov-March. Mine has been alive for going on 3 years now (!!!). When i was a kid, i always would get one and kill it promptly by either a.) overfeeding it, or b.) feeding it the wrong things (like raw hamburger). When i got this particular plant, i made it a point to try to get as much info as possible about raising one off the net. One site sums it up quite nicely when it says "Remember that a venus flytrap is expecting to trap insects and other small organisms, not small fragments of dead cows.)

    Loads of ants crawling around my kitchen floor.I keep stamping on them but they keep sending reinforcements.Gonna have to get chemical on 'em. :rant:
