Any Philadelphia Phillie phans(mispelled intentionally) here? It's the team that ya just gotta believe in. but it's kinda rough sometimes on fans, since every year they start out great, then get hit with a ton of injuries, and fall out at the end of the season. This year is the most exaggerated example of this. They finished the first half of the season in first place, but have had injuries to: Jim Thome, Pat Burrell, David Bell, Placido Polanco, Kevin Millwood, Vicente Padilla, Randy Wolf, Ryan Madison, Roberto Hernandez, Billy Wagner... that's their closer, 3 of their starters, a mid reliever, and a regular reliever... how can you pitch with no pitching staff??? and then a lot of key offensive players out as well... it seems that everytime you turn around, another player gets injured. so, does anyone still have hope for them? and even if you don't, who else agrees that if that team was fully healthy with all of their top players, that they'd win the National League East?
