does anyone think that 50 cent has got what it takes to
"keep it real" or to go the distance. will he ever be as popular as eminem or redman for example. personaly i dont think so. i mean how could he keep on rapping about the stereotypical stuff like being shot ,the b*tches ,money etc.
    What do you think?

I do not think we will hear so much about 50 Cent in a couple of years... He will still be around but I don't think he will be so mainstream as he is today... The essence in the hiphop lyrics are changing slowly all the time and I think you will find much more bands/artists like Black Eyed Peas next year... 50 is a 'product' of Eminem and Mr. Dr. Dre and now they are making Obie Trice and as you can see his lyrics are much more about having a good time, he uses ironi and fun lyrics... I think that's the way it goes... But a very interesting subject...

I wish 50 just stayed underground. Thats when his best stuff came out. Power of the Dollar & Guess Who's back is still some of the best cds ever.

50 is gonna last until he gets killed. Then people are gonna call him the greatest of all time (despite his average lyrics), and he's gonna have at least 3 posthumous albums.

I really don't see any other way for the 50 Cent story to play out.

he definitely aint lastin much longer. as time goes on, there is less and less people listenin to him. every video/single he puts out draws a smaller and smaller crowd.

he blew up cuz of em and dre. know hes just like every other "gangsta" rapper.

50 cent was good at one point in time. he will probally go bust tho cuz all his songs are way overplayed. maybe if he lays low his sales will jump again but i doubt it

I like 50, I mean I did like him a lot more before he blew up. Like Ghost said his older stuff was better... "GRODT" was a good album, but he let the fame go to his head a little bit. I don't believe he'll be able to follow up with a better album. Dre's beats is what made "GRODT" so good anyways.

Lloyd Banks is the future tho... his album will be hot.
