I like XP more than the other operting systems. I have had one error in the past 2 years (and it dosnt have the "Blue Screen") like the others. I used to have an error twice a day on 98 & 95.

I just bought some new stuff today. New mobo: Asus a7v333-wr (with raid) AMD 2100+ XP processor, 512megs of kingston ddr ram, 80gb Maxtor DiamdMaxPlus hard drive, and new plextor (black) cd-rw drive :)

It all cost me about $600 USD.. Not bad at all.

Serena, that's about $1200 GST for your info ;)

    HACKERS!!!! MUSTA BEEN HACKERS!!!!
I NEVER SAID THAT while standing on my head on the top of the Eifel Tower NEVER NEVER NEVER NOT EVEN ONCE a day for the last several weeks I RESENT (i mean regret) THE IMPLICATIONS (i mean the fact that i got caught) AND DENY IT TO THE END!!

    I NEVER INHALED!!!
I DID NOT HAVE SEXUAL RELATIONS WITH THAT WOMAN!
I REVERT TO MY PREVIOUS STATEMENT!

Ok, so what? I said it... I have no idea what it means. It comes off to me as being a little whining, crying baby (in need of a feeding, perhaps?)...
Well that's my story an I'm stickin' to it!

Thanks artisian. But I use 2 firewalls aswell as anti-spy. my computer only lets things "talk" out onto the net if i say it's ok. I use Norton firewall 2002 (if ANYONE tells me norton is going to kerrupt my system, THEY DIE!!!) and Zonealarm. my computer is like fort knox!!! lol (saying that, i bet i get hacked at some pint this week now!):boink:

    LOL -
advancedflea, you can never be too paranoid...
I'm running a similar configuration: Norton Internet Security 2002 and BlackICE... Used to run ZoneAlarm along side the other 2, but it took me an hour to get anything done online half the time ;)

    Ciao~

Yeah, norton internet security comes with norton firewall (or visa versa) but i just have norton firewall stand-alone. I actually pirated it off my friend. and zone alarm only slows u down if you don't know what ur doing

Yeah - it was specifically designed to remove the spyware in XP - I know it doesn't work on Win2K - probably not on anything else either.

p.s. LOL! pantispy eh? maybe that is the underlying reason I have been promoting it around here so much???? that's fuuuuunny!
